Chicago Lifestyle Photographer Jim Prisching is a veteran of the media and photography industry, with 30 years of experience, most recently having worked as a staff photographer at the Chicago Tribune for 20 years. Currently, he is the Chief Photographer for JWC Media, publishers of lifestyle magazines Sheridan Road and Forest and Bluff on Chicago's North Shore. During his career he has photographed assignments ranging from The Olympics to Presidential elections. His work has been published in Magazines and Newspapers worldwide, including Time, Newsweek, Life, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Post, USA Today, Washington Post, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, Athlon Publications and hundreds of other publications in both print and on the web. His current clients include Nike, American Airlines, Motorola, PR Newswire, Getty Images, The Associated Press, Northwestern University, Landov, and Under Armour. His award winning sports photographs are displayed in both the MLB Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY., and the NFL Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. Besides winning many National photo awards he was also a recipient of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for the Chicago Tribune series "Gateway to Gridlock".
